Police, legal and justice services

In police, legal or justice services, a victim, witness or accused person may require a Communication Intermediary to assist with communication when making disclosures to police, giving testimony in court, and expressing opinions and decisionsat legal meetings.

Communication Intermediaries are Speech-Language Pathologists with additional training from CDAC and / or CAJust to work in these situations.
